  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter: Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with video editing software and social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).

Selection Process for JSIM Student Interns

The selection process for the September and December internship cohorts will be conducted in three rounds to ensure we find the most suitable candidates.

Round 1: Resume Submission

To be considered for the internship, candidates must submit a resume to muktaichavan@jsim.in by August 30, 2025. The resume should highlight your relevant experience in content creation, social media, and any projects related to entrepreneurship or public policy.

Round 2: Shortlisting and Task Assignment

After reviewing the resumes, a shortlist of candidates will be notified by September 5, 2025. These candidates will be given a small, practical task designed to assess their creativity and understanding of the brief. The task will involve creating a short, scripted video concept for one of our social media channels.

Round 3: Virtual Interview

The final round will be a virtual interview with Dr. Muktai Chavan Deb or a senior member of the JSIM team. This interview will be a chance for us to discuss your task submission, your passion for the journal’s mission, and your availability for the internship.

We look forward to reviewing your applications and finding the next generation of content creators for JSIM.
